Customize Windows 10 desktop Appearance

There are many windows 10 themes available but to make it unique, a wide range of options to customize windows 10‘s look and feel are available with a custom look and desktop backgrounds, colors, and a variety of settings to change the interface, allowing anyone to personalize the desktop appearance. Follow these steps to customize the windows 10 appearance.

1. Change Taskbar position

  1. Make sure the taskbar is unlocked. Click a blank portion of the taskbar.
  2. Hold down the primary mouse button, and then drag the mouse pointer to the place on the screen where you want the taskbar. For example, you may want the taskbar to be positioned vertically on the right side of your screen.
  3. After you move the mouse pointer to the position on your screen where you want the taskbar, release the mouse button.

2. Change Desktop Wallpaper

Click the Start button, then select Settings  > Personalization  to choose a picture , and to change the accent color for Start, the taskbar, and other items. The preview window gives you a sneak peek of your changes as you make them.

In Background, select a picture or solid color, or create a slideshow of pictures.

3. Change Window mode

Click the Start button, then select Settings  > Colors to choose a default windows mode. This will change the look of windows start menu and windows colors. Just you have to select the one of them.

4. Change App mode

Click the Start button, then select Settings  > Colors to choose a default app mode. This will change the look of windows apps. Just you have to select the one of them.

Add Color on Title bars

Click the Start button, then select Settings  > Colors. Check the option labeled as “Title bar and action center ” below Show color on selected surfaces. This will show the selected color on title bar of windows.

Add Transparency Effects

While being in the same window check this option “Add transparency effects”.
