Tasty Vegetable Pakora

  • Finely chopped potatoes (bareek kaate aloo): 2
  • 2 Medium size Onion sliced (darmiyani kati piyaz)
  • 1 Sliced Cucumber (kheera kta hua)
  • Small Sliced Capsicum (shimla mirch choti): 1
  • Sliced Cabbage (kati hui bandgobhi): 1 cup
  • Gramflour (besan): one and a half cup
  • Red Chilli powder (surkh mirch): 1 tablespoon
  • Salt (namak): 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin seed (safed zeera): 1 tablespoon
  • Grind Coriander (pisa dhaniya): 1 tablespoon
  • Fenugreek Leaves (qusuri methi) : 1 tablespoon
  • Carom Seed (ajwain): half teaspoon
  • Baking soda: half teaspoon
  • Water: half cup


  • Put the gramflour in the bowl.
  • Add Red Chilli powder,Salt,Baking Soda,Carom seed, Fenugreekkleaves,Grind Coriander,Cumin Seed,mix all these spices in the Bowl.
  • Add water in the bowl and mix it properly.
  • Make a normal filling (neither thick nor thin.
  • Now Cabbages, Capsicum, Potatoes, Onions and cucumber.
  • Mix all ingredients in the bowl well.
  • Take a spoon full quantity of the mixture and put in the fry pan,now fry them at low flame till golden brown.
  • Delicious Vegetable Pakora is ready to be served.
  • Serve it with ketchup, curd or tea.
